Labor and Birth Support: $1000
2 prenatal meetings to discuss your birth preferences and create a birth plan, review stages of labor and laboring positions, and determine how I can best support you during the birth. We’ll also touch on preparing for postpartum and talk through any anxiety you may be feeling.
You’ll have unlimited phone/email/text support from the time you hire me through the 4th trimester. I’m here to answer any questions, provide evidence-based education, and suggest resources or referrals as needed!
I will be “on-call” for you starting at 37 weeks. During your labor and delivery, I will provide continuous physical and emotional support and advocate for you to have the birth you want. I will remain with you for up to 2 hours postpartum to help you get settled.
We’ll have 1 postpartum visit within your first few weeks home. This visit will be guided by your specific needs, but some things we can cover include processing your experience, wellness check-in for everyone in the household, and support for feeding and basic newborn care.
Postpartum Support: $30/hour, minimum 3 hours
These visits will be tailored to your unique day-to-day needs. We will begin each one by discussing the last 12-24 hours and coming up with a basic plan for support. This may include:
Non-judgmental emotional support to help you process your pregnancy and/or birth as well as the profound transition you’ve just undergone
Assistance with newborn education and care for things like diapering, bathing, and soothing
Any helpful postnatal care for the birthing person
Support for feeding - whether you’ve chosen to breastfeed, pump, bottle feed, or any combination
In-home cooking and meal preparation of nourishing foods to help support your recovery
Household tasks such as laundry, dishes, light cleaning, basic errands, etc.
Caring for your baby while you shower, rest, or run errands
Support for siblings and/or partners
